## Engineering relevance

A common description helps platforms exchange information without losing the meaning or origin of their own records.

## What VUSL is

VUSL is a shared language for describing capabilities, observations and relationships across software platforms while preserving each system’s meaning and origin.

It describes information; each native system keeps responsibility for its own permissions and actions.

## Rangoon is the first consumer

VUSL is intended for other platforms too. Its planned core must build independently of Rangoon and LNSAT.

## In development

VUSL is in development. The shared core and platform integrations are planned work. Each platform retains its own permissions and responsibilities.
